Ferndale Garden Centre goes live with Garden Audio

Garden Audio are pleased to announce that Ferndale Garden Centre has now gone live with our Garden Audio service at their Dronfield site.

In addition to the Winter colour collection, they have also included the Spring House Plant range.

Set up specifically for the Mothers Day launch of this collection, the co-owner of Ferndale "Neil Grant" decided to be the first garden centre in the UK to implement QR codes for direct invocation of the audio library tracks.

Garden Audio Exhibiting at GLEE Garden Retail Show NEC

Garden Audio are pleased to announce that we will be attending GLEE, the UK's premier event for everyone interested in Gardening products and services, you will be able to find us within the Innovator Zone at stand 5F69 at the NEC on each day during the show when dates run from 17th - 19th of September.

Glebe Garden Centre begins trials Garden Audio

Garden Audio are pleased to announce that a leading Garden Centre 'Glebe Gardens' based in Leicestershire are to begin trials of the Garden Audio service in May 2012. With their extensive experience of the Garden Centre industry we will be developing the audio service to focus more directly on their particular needs with the end customer firmly in mind.

The Garden Press Event

Garden Audio had a great day at the  RHS Lawrence Hall yesterday when we attended the first press event of the year and launched 'Garden Audio' onto an unsuspecting world. As part of the stand organised by Barnsdale Gardens we were pleased to see so many visitors, many of whom were old friends and acquaintances of Nick Hamilton a founder and Director of Garden Audio.

Garden Audio Launches YouTube Channel 

Garden Audio are pleased to announce that they have launched a new channel on YouTube for the promotion of all information  videos that Garden Audio will be presenting over the coming months.

Our initial release is an introduction video which describes the service in operation, showing how it works in a Garden situation.

QR Codes and Garden Audio

The Garden Audio team have been trialing QR (Quick Response) codes.

Following trials with QR Codes we are now equipped with the ability to invoke Garden Audio files directly from a QR Code, which might be a useful way to listen to individual audio tracks, although this works well there are no plans at present to replace our unique 'Two Clicks' method of invoking the audio menu, however, for those who would like to hear an introduction about the Garden Audio service using this method  simply ...

Barnsdale Gardens - Cottage Garden Live

Garden Audio are pleased to announce that following the successful launch of the Plant audio Library over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the service has now been extended to cover Garden number 33 - the Cottage Garden.

Visitors can now enjoy audio enhancement to the 3 main gardens local to the restaurant, further gardens will be covered in the near future.

Barnsdale Gardens Go Live!

Barnsdale Gardens Go Live over the August Bank Holiday

Garden Audio are pleased to announce that Barnsdale Gardens have gone live with our Plant Library Audio Service over the Bank Holiday week end 2011.

Barnsdale have decided to trial the Audio Plant Service initially with two of their many gardens, and these are garden number 1 - a "Modern Estate" design, and garden number 33 - a "Herb Garden".

Initial results are most encouraging with some excellent feed back from visitors on the first day.
